-------------In-Habit, group show, 2019------------








'In-Habit' took place in the home of David and Alex, as part of Index festival in Leeds, 2019. The exhibition examined intimate details of the inhabitants everyday lives, routines, habits and collections. The work presented challenges these repetitions, presenting the nuances of everyday life back into the house through curatorial methods of reconstruction, intervention and surveillance.

'Eat, Meet, Reminisce' was the product a collaborative exercise undertaken but Jenny Handley and Kate Hodgson during their time working in two technical positions at the University of Leeds. The exhibition combines the fields of audio-visual and print tech, framed in a fictitious re-imagining of Kirkgate Market. The exhibition repurposes market signage and text, collaged it with a modular interpretations window and product displays, and the aesthetics of retail construction.

Hosted in the condemned Lady Beck art studios in Mabgate, Leeds, 'Mabgate Townhall' sought to imagine and present a fictional, perhaps possible in another timeline, Townhall. The exhibition was comprised of site specific works by six artists, each of which revealed moments, memories and never-to-be futures of this site.

SQUEEZE TV was the experimental audio visual transmission curated, performed and live streamed by a group of 56 students. Taking the format of a Morning Breakfast show, the hour long transmission featured live performances of the SQUEEZE manifesto and haptic interventions.
